Dre Lisiane Rivest, M.V.
Originally from Témiscamingue, Dre Lisiane Rivest obtained her Veterinarian Doctorate Degree in the Spring of 2009. Having been hired full time in St-Eustache following her graduation, she then joined the team of the Piedmont Veterinarian Hospital in the Fall of 2009 as a replacement. With time, Dre Rivest progressively increased her availability and now offers veterinarian services full time as the sole veterinarian owner of the clinic. Dre Rivest loves the contact with her clients and wishes to promote their education so as to better guide them with their furry pets. Her interests are medicine, soft tissue surgeries and behavioral problems.

Dr David Mance, M.V.
Dr Mance graduated at the faculty of veterinary medicine at the University of Montreal in May 1993. After working in two other veterinarian establishments, he decided to establish his own hospital with his spouse Dre Lyne Farmer. Dr. Mance is passionate about general surgery and sees patients in consultation two afternoons a week. He loves travelling, deep sea diving, bicycling, cross country skiing, woodworking and gardening.

Dre Lyne Framer, M.V., I.P.S.AV 
Dre Farmer graduated at the faculty of veterinary medicine at the University of Montreal in 1992. She then undertook an internship specialization in equine medicine and surgery at the same place, which she completed in May 1993. She immediately established her equine practice in the Laurentians, before founding the Piedmont Veterinary Hospital with her spouse Dr. Mance. Dre Farmer also practiced small animal surgeries in her first years at the hospital before uniquely devoting herself to her equine practice.

Dre Silke Lutz, M.V.
Dre Silke Lutz is originally from Berlin, Germany. Passionate of animals since her very young age, she is a graduate of a bachelor in biology from L’UQAM and of a doctorate in veterinary medicine in St-Hyacinthe in 2009. She first practiced in Montreal and then in Mont-Tremblant before recently joining our team. In her practice, she cherishes the unique connection between pets and humans and advocates a personalized approach in the caring of your pet so that he remains in good health all his life in your company. She also practices general surgery and dentistry. Outside of her veterinarian practice, she is the mother of 3 young children. She is passionate about travelling, outdoor activities and horseback riding.

Dre Valérie Desjardins, M.V. M.V. Osteopath and veterinarian
Dre Desjardins graduated in 2005 at the Université de Montréal. She has always practiced in the Laurentians. We recognize her by her attentive listening, her empathy and capacity to forge a trusting connection with her clients. She wishes to practice proximity medicine and remain accessible. Her professional interests include cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology and geriatric medicine. She also provides first line veterinary medicine for your birds and small furry mammals. Dre Desjardins divides her time between classic and complementary medicine. Actually, she also offers specialized osteopathic care at home in the region. Acupuncture studies will also be completed by 2022. First and foremost, her goal is to provide your animal with personalized care through a global medical philosophy.

Nathalie Administration and Animal Health Technician
Technician with our team since 2012, Nathalie devotes herself to both technical and administrative tasks by prioritizing the daily flow of the clinic. Prior to joining the Clinique Vétérinaire Piedmont, Nathalie was an inspector for the SPCA for a great number of years. It is undeniable that the welfare of the animals is her priority.

Layla Animal Health Technician
Layla is the Animal Health Technician who has been with the clinic the longest and has been assisting the veterinarians in surgery since 2004!!! She particularly loves cats and is very passionate for music and art and loves skiing. Surgical preparation, assisting the veterinarian during the procedure, supervising the awakening and the post-op procedures are all routine tasks for Layla. She takes care of all our hospitalized patients from the moment they arrive until they leave.

Léa Animal Health Technician
Technician since 2019, Léa has been with us since 2017. Devoted and hard at work, she shares her time between the clinic, her university studies, outdoor sports and pottery. Léa is organized, efficient and always in a cheerful mood! Whichever task is requested, Léa always applies herself and is at ease as much in consultation, at the reception as in surgery. Whatever direction she may take, we are very grateful to be part of her career path. Here she is with her cat Prince!

Carolane Animal Health Technician
Promoted as an Animal Health Technician in the Spring of 2021, Carolane joined the Piedmont team with great enthusiasm and desire to learn. She rapidly demonstrated her great potential and great ease to do her work impeccably. Despite her young experience, she holds the keys to becoming an outstanding technician: great listener, efficient, very pragmatic and great sensitivity to help our furry friends. She is particularly attracted to surgery, dentistry and medicine for exotics. She also maintains her passion for animal welfare on a daily basis at home with her 2 beautiful border Collies: Chewie & Jedi!

Suzanne Animal Health Technician
Graduate since 2005 from Collège Lionel-Groulx, Suzanne started to practice her profession as technician at the St-Eustache Deux-Montagne Veterinary Hospital and worked there for 12 years. Actually, it’s during this period that she crossed paths with Dre Rivest and finally joined our team in November 2021. During the course of her clinical experience, Suzanne developed a great interest for customer service and animal nutrition. She also had the opportunity to benefit from numerous training and programs regarding weight loss. Her experience and her natural ease allowed her to rapidly take her place in the team. She also has a great passion for pastry baking and loves her 2 cats Captain Marvelle and Clementine!

Justine Assistant Technician
Welcomed to the team in 2020, Justine is very versatile. Firstly, as an Assistant Technician, she provides assistance to the Veterinarian in consultation and she also offers her help to the other Animal Technicians who might be overloaded. She is also responsible for administrative tasks and the management of the laboratory. Moreover, her past experience in a laboratory, clearly helped to easily familiarize herself with our machines and to ensure the quality of our clinical tests. She is generous with her time and her professional advice which proves that she is concerned for your furry pet as well as yours. She spends her free time at the barn with her horse but also has to share her time with her new puppy Cole!

Danielle Receptionist
Danielle is without a doubt our receptionist of action! She started with us in 2009 by helping with the move from the old building to our new facility. The new premises somewhat reflect her influence – organized and efficient! Following a long career in management in the transportation field, she searched for a new type of work with less pressure. It’s by fluke when Dre Farmer treated her horse that the opportunity to join our team came about. Since she started with us, Danielle appreciates life and organizes her time between her children and grandchildren and her passion for animals. Be it that she is at work or with her loving family, Danielle remains diligent and makes it a duty to accomplish whatever needs to be done. Here she is with her faithful friend Wendy-Lee!

Suzanne Receptionist
Following a great career of 39 years at the Montreal Airports, Suzanne joins our team. As a student, Suzanne had worked at a veterinary clinic and loved it! Being so passionate about animals, she always said that one day she would retry the experience. Her sister, who is a Veterinarian and who used to work with Dre. Rivest mentions in April 2015 that there would probably be a place for her at the Piedmont clinic. Active and an outdoor enthusiast, it is important for Suzanne to make time to train, to cross-country ski and to snowshoe with her adorable Cody. Tired of dealing with trafic every day, she wanted to reduce her travel time by working in the region, near her play area! Since then, Suzanne has definitely been an asset to the team. She is interested and dedicated to all her loved ones, her colleagues, clients and patients! Here she is with her handsome Bouvier des Flandres Cody!

Brigitte Animal Attendant

Brigitte is our little backstage busy bee! Rarely at the frontdesk, she is always somewhere taking care of a hospitalized animal or making sure no one is missing anything. Through her training in domestic animal care, in dog training and having an attestation from the MAPAQ, she is definitely an asset for the entire team. Having joined us in 2020 she does not regret working and being so close to her home. Dedicated to the wellbeing of our patients, she shows patience and great respect for the animals by methodically ensuring their well-being and comfort. She loves animals, nature and reading. If she is not working with us, she is probably gardening or walking with her beautiful dog Maëva! 

Olivia Animal Attendant

Olivia joined the team in April 2022 as an animal attendant. Passionate for the arts of stage, she worked for the Théâtre Le Patriote during 5 years. Following the pandemic, she decided to reconnect with her first passions: the animals! Thanks to her studies in animal care, Olivia has the theories to take well care of your furry pets. Futhermore, with her outstanding attention to detail, she is the perfect addition to help us in all the related tasks to veterinary medicine. You will certainly notice her at the front desk as she is filled with a bubbly energy which adds sparkle to the team. Outside of work, you may see her on a campsite, skiing or at the dog park with her beautiful Laska!
